Experimental prototype community of tomorrow: Epcot
OVERVIEW:
Epcot, the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, opened in 1982. It was conceived by Walt Disney to "take its cue from the new ideas and new technologies that are now emerging from the creative centers of American industry." The park consists of two themed areas, Future World and World Showcase. Future World features attractions that focus on energy, communication, the land and our environment, the ocean, imagination, transportation and space exploration. On the other hand, World Showcase is composed of 11 pavilions of countries from around the world. Each pavilion has cultural representatives from that specific country as well as shops, restaurants, and attractions all tied back to their representative location.

Achievements:
- During my program I was able to learn the amazing customer service skills that are necessary in order to work for the Walt Disney Company. The name Disney is worldwide and I can guarantee that being here allows one to learn how to "make magic" and interact with guests in order to fulfill one man's dream. Not only was I able to experience this high-quality level of customer service at my home park but also at other parks like Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom since Disney allows us to pick up shifts at different locations. Furthermore, my biggest achievement throughout all these parks would be getting to deliver that customer service experience to international guests. Disney allowed me to take and pass language tests (Spanish & Portuguese) that would allow me to have a language tag underneath my name tag. That being said, they trusted my skills enough to interact with guests from all over the world in hopes of making their experience more magical!
